Trim Levels of the 2023 Dodge Hornet
What are the Dodge Hornet's New Powertrain Options?
This year, the Dodge Hornet is introducing lots of new and exciting features to the Dodge lineup. For example, there are two all-new powertrains available depending on the trim level you choose. These powertrains may be different from the Dodge engines you know and love, but you can still experience the thrill of the open road with these new options! For the Hornet's GT and GT Plus trims, you'll find the new Hurricane 4 engine, which is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four that delivers 265 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The Hurricane 4 pairs with a 9-speed automatic transmission, and Hornet models with this engine also feature a Sport Mode setting. The other powertrain option is a plug-in hybrid system for the R/T, which includes a 1.3-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine, as well as a 15.5-kWh lithium-ion battery. With the hybrid powertrain, you can travel for up to 30 miles on the electric charge alone!
What New Design Features does the Dodge Hornet Have?
The 2023 Dodge Hornet is combining classic Dodge aesthetics with all-new features for a totally unique look! Starting with its exterior appearance, the Hornet has a new silhouette that's larger and more robust than the Charger, but still more compact than the Durango. The Hornet is a compact-utility vehicle, which lies between a crossover SUV and a sedan. Within the three available models, you can choose a number of different exterior paint colors, and there are also many other ways to customize your Hornet's appearance, such as badges, or racing stripes. The Hornet offers available appearance packages such as the Track Pack, which features 20-inch wheels and Brembo high-performance brakes. There's also the Blacktop package for a sleek black aesthetic.
What are the Interior and Exterior Features of the Dodge Hornet?
The Hornet offers a wide range of features that create its sporty yet sleek appearance! All Hornet models come with standard LED lighting in the front and rear, with wheel options ranging from 17 to 20 inches. On the inside, the Hornet has a sleek black interior, finished with glossy black-painted accents for an impactful look. There's also a heated flat-bottom steering wheel with available leather trim for a comfortable grip! There's a console-mounted push-button ignition, as well as column-mounted paddle shifters for that sporty cockpit-inspired look.
